Overview
If you need more detailed information about a sent payment through Checkbook.io, you can do so by visiting your Checkbook.io dashboard.
Note: These instructions for checking the payment status of a Checkbook.io payment from their dashboard are only for those users who still see the outgoing payments settings under Settings > Outgoing Payments. If you do not see these settings, please do not use these instructions.
The Steps
To view detailed status of an outgoing Checkbook.io payment, first head over to your Checkbook.io and log into your dashboard.
On your Checkbook.io dashboard, you will see a list of all your outgoing payments that were sent using ePay (Checkbook.io).
When viewing the payments, pay attention to the Status and Method columns. These two columns will let you know the status of your payment and who method was used to make that payment. The following statuses are what you may see:
UNPAID - Check email was sent but no action has been taken by the recipient.
IN PROCESS - Recipient elected direct deposit and entered their bank account information.
PRINTED - Final status. The recipient selected to print their check and downloaded the print PDF. Print PDF’s can only be viewed 5 times before getting locked.
PAID - Final status. The payment has been successfully sent to the recipient's bank account.
FAILED - Payment attempt failed. Recipients will be able to submit a new credit destination.
VOID - Payment was voided by the sender.
MAILED - Final status. The check has been successfully printed and mailed.
