Signature Templates vs Signature Requests

Understand the difference between Signature Templates (reusable layouts) and Signature Requests (individual send-outs) in DoorLoop's eSignature workflow.

Written by Samuel

Overview

Signature Templates and Signature Requests might sound similar, but they serve different purposes. A Signature Template is a commonly used document saved with your signature and auto-fill fields already entered, so it's ready to reuse. A Signature Request, on the other hand, is the process of sending a document out to be signed. You don't need a Signature Template to send a Signature Request, but using one saves you time by skipping the setup on documents you send often.

Note: Signature Templates are not available for Starter plans. Please consider upgrading to a higher subscription plan tier if you want more features.
