Overview

Meet your new AI assistant inside the Communication Center. It takes the stress out of drafting tenant and owner messages by giving you instant, professional responses. Whether you want to polish what you’ve written or generate a complete reply in seconds, AI Assistant makes every conversation faster, clearer, and more professional, so you save time and keep your communication sharp.

The Steps

The new AI Assistant within the Communications Center has two specific features to help you compose the best responses possible to your tenants, owners, and vendors: Generate Message and Improve Text. Both of these features utilize generative AI to help you craft your responses. The AI-generated responses will be entirely under your control and will only be sent after you approve them. Preview responses can be edited or undone if they are not to your liking.

  1. To use the AI Assistant for Communication Center messages, click Communications on the main menu and then select My Messages or All Messages.

  2. Click on the message to which you want to respond.

  3. Once on the message, under the Write a Message field, click the "Help Me Write" button. Two options will be available to you:

    • Generate Message - Use the AI Assistant to craft your messages for you based on the previous messages received. You will be given three AI-generated messages you can choose from. Choosing one will send it to the message field. From here, you'll still be able to edit the text before sending the message. (Note that in order to generate a message, there has to be a conversation history. If this is your first time sending a message to someone, you will need to enter your own text first.)

    • Improve Text - If you decide to write your own responses, AI can help make improvements to the length or tone of the message by clicking one of the three buttons below your message:

      • Shorter - Makes your current message shorter to fit within the 160-character limit.

      • Friendly - Changes the tone of your message to be more friendly

      • Professional - Changes the tone of your message to be more professional.

      Choosing one of the options will send your message to the message field. From here, you can still edit your text before sending.

  4. You may notice that there is also an Undo button located right next to the Help Me Write button. This can undo any changes you make, in case you're not happy with the edits.

  5. Once you are happy with the results, click Send to finish.
