Overview
This feature allows you to contribute toward an applicant’s application fee directly within the Customizable Plan settings. It’s designed to help you stay compliant in states or localities that limit how much can be charged to applicants, while still ensuring the full application cost is covered.
To use this option, simply enter the amount the applicant will pay and enable “Contribute towards application fees.” The remaining balance will be automatically calculated as the manager contribution. Once the applicant submits their payment, your portion will be charged to the merchant account associated with the property—ensuring a seamless and compliant payment process.
