Overview
The Rent Payments Overview Dashboard gives you a single place to understand your rent collection and move more tenants to online and automatic payments. Instead of scanning your tenant list row by row, you get a clear picture of how this month is going, which tenants need attention, and the exact buttons to do something about it.
You'll find it in the Leases > Active Leases area of DoorLoop. Each section shows your own numbers and connects directly to an action — like inviting a tenant to their portal or asking someone to set up autopay.
Note: This dashboard appears once online payments are enabled on your account.
This Month at a Glance
The top of the dashboard gives you four quick "health check" tiles for the current month.
Total Outstanding: The percentage of rent owed this cycle that has been collected. Higher is better.
Collection Rate: The percentage of rent owed this cycle that has been collected. Higher is better.
Avg. Collection Time: The percentage of rent owed this cycle that has been collected. Higher is better.
Overdue: Leases with any overdue balance.
How Tenants Pay
This chart shows the last six months of payments, split into Automatic and Manual, with a line tracking your overall online rate over time. It's an easy way to see whether more of your tenants are moving to online and automatic payments month over month.
Needs Attention
This section lists the tenants who are costing you time right now, grouped by what's holding them back. Each group has a button so you can act without leaving the page.
Not yet invited / Invited, never logged in: Tenants who haven't been invited or got an invite but haven't signed in yet. Select Send Invite / Resend / Copy link to send the invite or copy a link to share directly.
In portal, paying offline: Tenants who have logged in but are still paying manually. Select Send payment reminder to nudge them toward paying online.
Each button opens a short window listing the relevant tenants, so you can review them before sending.
Autopay Adoption
This card focuses on automatic payments — the setup where rent is collected on its own each month, so no one has to remember to pay.
Tenants on autopay: A progress bar showing how many of your tenants are on autopay out of your total.
How tenants paid this month: A chart breaking down each payment type — such as ACH Autopay and Card Autopay (automatic bank transfer or card), ACH and Card one-time payments, and Manual / Check.
Ready to switch to autopay: A count of tenants who already pay online but haven't turned on autopay yet.
ACH simply means a payment made directly from a bank account.
Tools & Actions
These tools let you act on your whole portfolio at once, rather than one tenant at a time.
Self-Onboard Link: Share a link tenants use to verify and activate their own account — handy when you'd rather hand out a link than send individual invites.
Pay-or-Quit Notice: Automatically send pay-or-quit notices to tenants with an outstanding balance and never miss a follow-up if the balance remains unpaid.
