Easily review, update, and reassign tasks in seconds. Whether you’re following up on maintenance or keeping owners informed, DoorLoop makes it easy to communicate updates and keep things moving, so nothing falls through the cracks and everyone stays happy.

The Steps

Update a task

  1. To update a task, click Tasks & Maintenance on the main menu and then click All Tasks or My Tasks.

  2. Next, find and click on the task you want to post an update for. This will open the task and take you to the task's Overview page.

  3. Click Post Update under the Quick Actions section to post an update.

  4. On the Post an Update window, you can add a message and change the due date, status, priority, and assignees. You can choose to notify the assignees of these changes via email.

  5. Click Save when you are finished.

  6. Updates made on a task will appear in the Activity Feed on the Overview page of the task.
