Overview
View As lets you see your Overview dashboard exactly the way one of your users sees theirs. Instead of guessing what a different users with different use roles can access, you can look through their eyes directly — which makes it easy to confirm that each user only sees the information you intend for them to see.
This is especially useful after you set up permissions for a new user, or whenever you want to double-check that sensitive information stays restricted to the right people.
Note: View As only shows you what a user's own Overview dashboard looks like. It doesn't let you take any actions on their behalf.
The Steps
To view a different User's Overview dashboard, on your Overview dashboard, just to the left of the Customize Dashboard button, click on the View As dropdown menu.
From the dropdown menu, simply select the user you would like to impersonate when viewing your dashboard.
Now you can see the Overview dashboard as if you had logged in as this user. Use this tool to double-check and review what your created users can see.
