Activate a Renewal Contract for a Lease

Activate a signed lease renewal contract in DoorLoop to convert it to an active lease—the final step after all eSignatures are collected.

Overview

If all your signatures have been collected (including eSignature Requests) for your lease renewal contract, the last step is to activate the contract and make the lease active.

The Steps

  1. To activate a lease renewal contract, click Leasing > Renewals from the main menu.

  2. On the Renewals page, find the lease renewal contract you want to activate and click "Activate Lease" under the Action column.

  3. A confirmation popup will appear asking "Are you sure you want to activate this lease?" Click Confirm to activate the renewal contract and turn it into an active lease.

You can now find this active lease in Leasing > Active Leases with the new lease terms.
