Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) works by adding an additional layer of security to accessing your DoorLoop account. When 2FA is enabled in DoorLoop, to log in you will need a one-time code sent to your email address in addition to your username and password.
2FA is enabled by default, but if you turn it off and want to turn it back on later, the following steps show you how!
Head to the general Settings then click on Login & Password in the Personal section.
Once inside, you can enable 2-Step Verification by clicking on the toggle.
Enter your password in the Current Password field down in the Security Confirmation section of the page, then click Save.
That’s all! The next time you log in, you will need to enter the verification code that is emailed to you.
While we strongly recommend keeping two-factor authentication on for security reasons, we provide you the ability to disable it.
