Overview

If you decide to start a "DoorLoop customer Website" with us, one of the neat things you can do is list your available units on it. You will need to take a few steps to enable this feature through DoorLoop.

Note: Listing Syndications is not available to Starter Plans. Consider upgrading to the Pro or Premium Plans to access this feature.

The Steps

Step 1 - Turning on Listing Syndications

  1. To turn on the listings module for your "DoorLoop Customer Website," click Settings on the main menu. Then click the Listing Syndication button.

  2. On the Listing Sync Options window, toggle on the "Embed Your Listings" option under the Advanced Integrations section.

  3. Click Save to finish.

Note: You cannot embed the Listing Link under the Embed Your Listing section in your regular website, blog, or any other online source. Listing websites strictly use this link to gather information about your units.

Step 2 - Listing Your Unit

  1. To list your unit on your custom website, click Rentals on the main menu and then click Units.

  2. On the Units page, find the Unit you want to be listed. Click on the 3-dots to the right of the unit you want to list and click Edit.

  3. On the Edit Unit window, click on the Listing tab. Then, under the Partner Websites Listing section, toggle on List this unit for rent on partner websites.

  4. You'll now see fields for the following that you will need to enter:

    • Date Available - When the unit will become available.

    • Listing Contact - Enter any User on your account.

    • Asking Rent - How much are the rent payments.

    • Deposit - (Optional) Enter an amount for Security Deposit if applicable.

    • Lease Terms - (Optional) Enter the terms of the lease.

You should have all the information for your listing filled in if you also plan on listing this on our partner websites. Please refer to the article: Create Online Listings for Your Units for a complete breakdown of everything that needs to be filled in and uploaded.

  5. Click Save to finish.

Your Unit will now appear on your custom website.

Enter More Information

The above instructions for listing your Unit are the minimum you need to do to have your Unit show up as a listing on your custom website. However, you're going to want to add more information to your listings to make them more appealing to your applicants. You'll want to enter information like Property and Unit descriptions, photos, and amenity details.

To do so, I would suggest you check out the article: Create Online Listings for Your Units. Specifically, you'll want to pay attention to Setting Property Listing Information and Setting Unit Listing Information.
