Overview

If you decided to start a custom website with us, one of the neat things you can do is push the units you want listed to it. However, you'll need to take a few steps to enable this feature through DoorLoop. It's a simple process which we'll show you how to do below.

Due to the fact that our current listing partners do not allow listing commercial properties. This means online listing features in DoorLoop will not be available for commercial properties, even for custom websites and the website listings module.

Note: Listing Syndications is not available to Starter Plans. Consider upgrading to the Pro or Premium Plans to access this feature.

The Steps

Step 1 - Turning on Listing Syndications

  1. On the main menu, click Settings.

  2. Under the Company section, click on the Listing Syndication button.

  3. Scroll down to the bottom and the most important option we care about is the Other option. Turn on this toggle for this.

  4. Click Save to finish.

Step 2 - Listing Your Unit

  1. On the main menu, click Rentals and then click Units.

  2. On the Units overview page, find the Unit you want to be listed. You can also either use the various filters or use the Search units search bar.

  3. Click on the vertical three dots icon to the right of your unit and select Edit.

  4. On the Edit Unit window, click on the Listing tab.

  5. Under the Partner Websites Listing section, toggle on, List this unit for rent on partner websites.

  6. You'll now see fields for the following that you will need to enter:

    • Date Available - When the unit will become available.

    • Listing Contact - Enter any User on your account.

    • Asking Rent - How much are the rent payments.

    • Deposit - (Optional) Enter an amount for Security Deposit if applicable.

    • Lease Terms - (Optional) Enter the terms of the lease.

You must have all the information for your listing filled in already if you plan on also listing this on our partner websites. Please refer to the article: Creating Online Listings for Your Units for a complete breakdown of everything that needs to be filled in and uploaded.

  7. Click Save to finish.

Your Unit should now appear on your custom website.

Enter More Information

The above instructions for listing your Unit are the minimum you need to do to have your Unit show up as a listing. However, you're going to want to add more information to your listings to make them more appealing to your applicants. You'll want to enter information like Property and Unit descriptions, photos, and amenity details.

To do so, I would suggest you check out the article Creating Online Listings. Specifically, you'll want to pay attention to Setting Property Listing Information and Setting Unit Listing Information.
