Receive notifications about important activities related to your DoorLoop User account

Overview

DoorLoop has revamped the notification settings for users and will now notify users of a variety of different activities within the system. The biggest change is that you can now receive notifications within the app itself via push notifications in addition to email. This also means that if you have the DoorLoop application installed on your mobile device, you will be able to receive push notifications on it now.

The Steps

  1. On the main menu, click the new Notifications button. From there, a new Notifications Panel will appear that will house all your recently received notifications.

  2. To edit which activities you want to receive notifications for, click the Gear Icon button at the top left-hand corner.

  3. You'll now see a popup for Notifications Settings with various activities you can be notified of and how you want those notifications received.

    • Types of Notifications

      • Push Notifications - Push notifications will be shown on your desktop or mobile app

      • Email - Notifications will be sent to your inbox

    • Activities

      • Payment received - When a new payment is received from a tenant

      • Payment returned - When a tenant's payment has been returned

      • Task assigned to you - When a task is assigned to you

      • Task updated - When a task has been updated

      • New rental application submitted - When a new rental application has been received

      • Weekly Agenda - Based on your calendar and what events are occurring for the week

  4. Click Save to apply your settings.

That's it. Your notification settings are all now in one place and can be easily adjusted based on your needs.
