Overview
Sometimes it's necessary to disconnect your bank account from Plaid — especially if the connection isn't syncing properly, or if you want to completely disconnect your account from Plaid for any other reason. There are several steps you'll need to take, outlined below.
Note: Importing transactions with Plaid isn't available to Starter Plans. Consider upgrading to the Pro or Premium Plans to access this feature.
The Steps
Disconnect Your Bank Account From Plaid
To disconnect your bank account from Plaid, click Accounting> Transactions on the main menu.
On the Transactions page, look for the bank account you're trying to disconnect. Then click the 3-dots on the right of the bank and select Disconnect Bank.
The bank account is now disconnected from Plaid. Transactions from your bank account no longer sync to DoorLoop for matching.
Reconnect Your Bank Account to Plaid
To reconnect your bank account to Plaid, click Accounting > Transactions on the main menu.
Click on Import Transactions on the bank account you want to connect.
On the BankConnect screen, you should see the previously connected bank on the list. Click on this bank account to reconnect your account to that bank.
Your account is now reconnected.
Note: The steps above only work if you still have another DoorLoop bank account connected to the same bank login. If this was your only account connected to that bank, you won't see it on the BankConnect screen — instead, you'll need to go through the full connection process again.
