Overview

Announcements in DoorLoop are an integral feature that can be very useful when trying to communicate with your tenants. DoorLoop's Announcements feature allows you to send messages to your tenants via email, text, voice message, and posts to their tenant portal. While you can't delete or edit email, text, and voice messages after they've been sent, you can delete and edit announcements sent to the tenant portal. We'll show you how.

Note: Announcements are not available to Starter Plans. Consider upgrading to the Pro or Premium Plans to access this feature.

The Steps

How to Delete an Announcement From the Tenant Portal

  1. To delete an announcement from the tenant portal, click Communications > Announcements.

  2. On the Communications page, you'll see a list of all the announcements. First click on the announcement you want to delete. Then, click the 3-dots on the message and select Delete From the Tenant Portal.

  3. A Delete Confirmation popup appears; click Delete again.

  4. You're done.


How to Delete an Announcement Completely

  1. To completely delete an announcement from record, click Communications > Announcements.

  2. On the Communications page, you'll see a list of all the announcements. First click on the announcement you want to delete. Then, click the 3-dots on the message and select Edit Tenant Portal Message.

  3. On the Announcement Preview window, click the Delete button to completely delete the announcement.

  4. A Delete Confirmation popup appears; click Delete again.

  5. When you are done, click Save.

Note: Deleting the announcement from the record only deletes it from your DoorLoop history and the Tenant Portal. It will not un-send an email, text, or voice message.
