How to Accept Your Tenant Portal Invite (Step-by-Step)

Just got an invite for your tenant portal? Here's how to set it up.

If you're reading this, it means you have received an email or text message stating that your Tenant Portal is Ready. This means you have been invited to access your tenant portal by your property manager. You will need to accept this invite before being able to access your Tenant Portal and below are the steps for how you would do this.

What are the benefits of activating your tenant portal?

Your Tenant Portal will give you access to Pay Rent Online, View Payment History, Set up Automatic Payments, Submit Maintenance Requests, obtain Renters Insurance, and receive important Announcements from your property manager.

There are two ways you can receive a tenant portal invitation - either by email or as a text message.

Tip: You can also just go straight to https://app.doorloop.com/tenant-portal/login to set up your tenant portal.

Accepting the Tenant Portal Invitation

You Received the Tenant Portal Invite Through Email

If you receive an email invite (Subject: Your Tenant Portal is Ready), follow the steps below.

  1. Your Tenant Portal Invite will be in your inbox with the subject line “Join Your Tenant Portal

  2. Open this message and click the pink link that reads, “Get Started.

  3. On the login page, enter your email address, the one you got the portal invite on, and click Send Code. A one time password will be sent to your email address.

  4. Once you receive the code, enter it on the login page, click the terms and conditions box, and click Verify.

You will now be in your new tenant portal.


You Received the Tenant Portal Invite Through Text Message

If you receive a tenant portal invite through text/SMS, follow the steps below. You can accept the invitation through the text invite. Click the link which will take you to the login page.

Select the phone option and enter your phone number. Click Send Code. You will get a code on your phone that you must enter back into the login page. Once completed, you will have activated your tenant portal.
