Overview

The Management Fees Settings Report is where you'll now go to see a list of all your properties and which ones have management fees set up. This way, you no longer need to go into each property individually to see if they have management fees on them or not. The Management Fees Settings Report is also a great place to manage your management fees in bulk.

Note: Management Fees are not available to Starter Plans. Consider upgrading to the Pro or Premium Plans to access this feature.

The Steps

Viewing the Management Fees Settings Report

  1. On the main menu, click Reports and then click Management Fees Settings Report under the Business Overview section.

  2. On the Management Fees Settings Report page, you’ll see a list of all the properties you are managing. You'll notice that the properties with management fees enabled will have information filled in while those that do not will be blank. You can narrow down this list using the filters button next to the search bar and filter by Property, Portfolio, and Status.

Creating and Editing Management Fees in Bulk

  1. On the main menu, click Reports and then click Management Fees Settings Report under the Business Overview section.

  2. On the Management Fees Settings Report page, you’ll now see a list of all the properties you are managing. You'll notice that the properties with management fees enabled will have information filled in while those that do not will be blank.

  3. Select the properties you want to change or add management fees for by using the checkboxes. Note that all the properties you select will all share the same management fees you are about to set.

  4. Once you select the properties to edit, you'll see a link that reads, "Edit Management Fees". Click it.

Note you will see a warning if these properties have different management fee settings. You'll need to click Keep Editing to continue if you want to make them all the same.

  5. The Property Management Fees dialogue will now be open. If you are trying to turn on Management Fees, toggle "Enable management fee for this property" to the on position. If you're trying to turn it off, toggle the setting to the off position.

  6. When toggled on, you'll be asked to use the company default management fee structure or to use property specific management fee structure. Use the company default option if you want it to follow the default rule, or use the property specific management fee structure if you want to give these properties their own management fees structure.
