Overview

There are circumstances where a tenant's auto-pay (recurring payment) may need to be deleted. For instance, if they abruptly end their lease and you need to stop all future payments, or if the lease is going into eviction status and you want to make sure no payments will be made. There might be other reasons not listed, but deleting a tenant's auto-pay is a simple process that only takes a few clicks.

The Steps

  1. To delete an auto-pay (recurring payment) from a tenant, click Leases on the main menu and then click on Active Leases.

  2. Find the lease for which you want to delete an autopay and click on it.

  3. Click on the Rent tab and go to the Other Recurring Transactions section, where you should see a recurring payment line item. This is the tenant's auto-pay.

  4. Click on the three dots on the right side of the recurring payment line and click Delete.

  5. The tenant's auto-pay should now be deleted.

That's it. If you need the tenant to re-add their auto-pay, they'll need to do it through their tenant portal.
