Introduction to Lease Payment Status Labels and Their Meaning

Transactions under the lease now show the status of payments.

Overview

We have updated the Transaction tab on leases so that now, you'll be able to see the status of payments made. You can now quickly see if payments are being processed, if they've cleared, and if they've been deposited into your account.

The Steps

  1. To view lease payments and their status, click on Leasing on the main menu and then click on Active Leases.

  2. Find the lease you want to view a payment on and click on it.

  3. Click on the Transactions tab. You'll now see the Status column here.

  4. The status column is where you'll see statuses. Here's what they mean:

    • Processing: Payment is being processed with Stripe

    • Succeeded: This means the payment has been captured but hasn't yet been deposited into your account

    • Undeposited: The payment has not been deposited into your bank account yet.

    • Deposited: The payment has been deposited into your bank account.

    • Failed: payment has failed.

    • Disputed: There is a dispute made by the tenant for the payment made.

  5. You can also check all your transactions using the Recieve Payments page which will give you an overview of all ePay transactions made by your tenants.
