Overview

It's easy to forget what our passwords are sometimes, especially if you're used to having your browser just save them and autofill. If you don't remember what your password is, you can easily reset that in DoorLoop. If you do know your password, you can also easily change that as well.

The Steps

How to change your password if you know your current password

  1. If you know your current password, you can change your password from your dashboard. First, log in to your DoorLoop account using your current password.

  2. Click Settings on the main menu and then click Login & Password under the Personal section.

  3. Enter your Current Password on the Login & Password Settings popup and click Unlock.

  4. Next, you will be asked to enter the 6-digit verification code that is sent to your email. You will have 60-seconds to enter the code. Click Confirm when done.

  5. On the Login & Password Settings window, click Edit next to the Password field.

  6. Then enter your New Password and Confirm the Password again. Your new password will require the following:

    • Minimum length: 8 char.

    • At least 1 capital letter

    • 1 lowercase letter

    • 1 number

    • 1 special character (spaces not included)

  7. Click Save to finish.

Your password is now changed.

Reset your password if you don't remember your current password

  1. If you don't remember your password, you'll need to reset it. On the login screen, click the link that reads "Forgot Password?"

  2. Next, enter the email address that you used to originally log in with.

  3. Click Reset Password.

  4. You'll then need to wait for a DoorLoop Password Reset email. When you get that, click the green Reset Password button and you'll be redirected back to your tenant portal login page to create a new password.

  5. That's it. You should now be back in your tenant portal. Be sure to jot down your new password somewhere so you don't forget it again.

Tip: Depending on your email service, it might take some time for the password reset email to arrive. These do not expire so once you do receive it, use it to reset your password.
