Overview
The Transactions List report is one of the main reports you'll use most. It shows every incoming and outgoing transaction in DoorLoop, including payments, charges, credits, refunds, expenses, bank transfers, owner contributions, journal entries, and more.
How to Get to the Transactions List Report
To access the Transactions List report, click Reporting on the main menu. Search and click the Transactions List report.
The Transactions List report defaults to the last 7 days. To change this, click the Date Range filter and choose a new range of dates.
From the Transactions List report, you can view all transactions that have been made, including payments, charges, credits, refunds, expenses, bank transfers, owner contributions, journal entries, and more. Clicking any entry shows more details about that transaction.
Tip: If you need to search for specific types of transactions, transactions from specific people, or even by payment method, use the More Filter button to bring up additional filter options. You can also use the Search to find specific items and dollar amounts.
Example of What You Can Use the Transactions List Report For
Delete Transactions in Bulk
You can use the Transactions List report to delete transactions in bulk. This can be, for instance, all charges on a lease, a group of expenses, or even bills you don't need anymore.
Select the transactions using the checkbox next to each transaction. Then click Delete on the floating bar.
Then, on the Delete confirmation window, click the checkbox that you understand this permanently deletes the selected records and click Delete Transactions.
Note: Deleting charges cannot be undone so double check to make sure you really want to delete all these charges.
Find Out Who Created, Edited, or Deleted a Transaction
If you have a team of users in DoorLoop helping you manage your properties, you can use this report to see who created, edited, or deleted a transaction, and when. This works for most transaction types, including Owner Contributions and Owner Distributions.
To see who deleted a transaction, use the More Filters button and set the Deleted Items filter to Deleted Only.
To see who created or last edited a transaction, click the Columns button at the top corner and turn on the Created By, Created At, Updated By, and Updated At columns.
If a name appears next to a transaction under Created By or Updated By, that user created or updated the transaction. If no name appears, the transaction was automatically created by the system, and shows as "System." (For a deleted transaction, the Created By/Created At columns show who originally created it, and the Updated By/Updated At columns show who deleted it and when.)
Tip: Using the Transactions List report this way works as a simple audit log — a good way to view when transactions were created, updated, or deleted, and by whom.
Note: You can only find out who made changes to a transaction this way. This isn't for viewing which user made changes to DoorLoop settings in general.
The Transactions List report is one of the most flexible tools in DoorLoop for viewing, filtering, and managing your transaction history.
