Delete Charges in Bulk

Delete charges across multiple leases in bulk in DoorLoop — useful for removing charges posted before you were ready to start billing.

Overview

There are instances where you may need to delete charges on multiple leases in bulk. This could be because DoorLoop started charging for rent on these leases before you were ready to start taking payments through DoorLoop or you just want to start charging on a different date. Instead of going into each lease and deleting the posted charges one by one, you can do it in bulk.

Note: Bulk Charges are not available to Starter Plans. Consider upgrading to the Pro or Premium Plans to access this feature.

The Steps

  1. To delete charges in bulk, click Reports on the main menu. Then click on the Transactions List report under the Accounting section.

  2. On the Transactions List, you can use the top filter bar to choose a date range you want to see. Then you can also select Charge as the Type to only view charges.

  3. When the list of charges pops up, use the checkboxes to select the payments you want to delete. If you want to select them all, use the top-most checkbox and it will auto-select all other checkboxes.

  4. Once those are selected, you'll see a Delete button. Click it.

  5. The system will ask you to confirm if you want to delete all these charges in bulk. Click Delete to complete the process.

Note: Deleting charges can not be undone so double check to make sure you really want to delete all these charges.

That's it. You'll be returned back to the Transactions List report and should notice that all the charges have been deleted.
