Overview
If you want to notify your Owners when Association Dues are due, when a payment has been made, or when payments are overdue, then you'll want to turn on Dues & Payment Notifications. These can be configured at the company-level where these settings will apply to all of your Associations. You can also set these up as association-specific notification settings, which will override the company-level settings.
The Steps
To set up dues & payment notifications, click Settings on the main menu. Then under the Associations Settings section, click Dues & Payment Notifications.
In the Dues & Payment Notifications window, set the following options:
Dues Reminders
Send a notification to remind the owners about upcoming dues - here you can set a specific number of days before dues are due to notify the tenants
Do not send a notification if the owner has already paid
Dues Overdue
Send recurring notifications to remind the owners about overdue dues
Set the number of days after dues have not been paid to notify owners
Set the frequency at which these notifications will be sent
Dues Posted
Post charges to the account before the due date - here you can post charges several days in advance of when a payment will be due
Send a notification to the owners when dues are posted
Include an account statement PDF in the email
Include an invoice to the email
Payment Received
Send a notification to the owners when they make an online payment
Send a notification to DoorLoop users when a owner makes an online payment - here you can specify which of your users on your account will receive payment received notifications
Payment Returned
Send a notification to the owner when an online payment is returned
Send a notification to DoorLoop users when an online payment is returned - here you can specify which of your users on your account will receive payment return notifications
Text Messages
Turn on or off whether to send text notifications to your owners. The default is set to off.
Owner contribution received
Send a receipt to the owner when a contribution is received
Send a notification to DoorLoop users when an owner contribution is received
Owner contribution returned
Send a notification to the owner when a contribution is returned
Send a notification to DoorLoop users when an owner contribution is returned
When you are finished making your selections, click Save.
Note: You will need to set this up before the association dues charge starts posting. Notifications are also based on the dues date set.
