Overview
DoorLoop provides a generic error message when tenants run into payment issues on the tenant portal. If you would like to provide special instructions instead, you can do so under the Payment Instructions setting. Here's how you would do that.
The Steps
To set custom payment instructions for the tenant portal, click Settings on the main menu and then click the Payment Instructions button located under the Property Settings section.
In the field provided, type the special instructions you have for the tenant when they have payment issues.
Click Save to finish.
Now, whenever your tenants encounter any payment issues, they'll see this message on their tenant portal. It will look similar to the image below.
