Overview
The cash flow statement reports the cash generated and spent during a specific period of time. In DoorLoop, the Cash Flow Statement report shows money coming in and going out — all income received from your different sources, along with expenses and distributions going out. After accounting for financing and investing activity, this shows the total amount of cash available at the end of the period.
The Steps
To view the Cash Flow Statement, click Reports on the main menu. Search and click on the Cash Flow Statement report.
Use the filter bar to narrow down the report:
Date range (defaults to This month) — Click to change the period.
Portfolio, Property, Unit, Owner, Vendor — Filter down to specific records.
Group by — Group the report by a specific field.
Accrual/Cash — Toggle the accounting method in the top right.
Compare — Compare this period against another.
Below the filter bar, an Insights section shows your Net cash from operations, Net cash from investing, and Net cash from financing for the selected period and filters.
The report starts with your Cash at beginning of period, then breaks down Operating activities (Net income, broken into Income and Expenses, plus Adjustments to Reconcile Net Income to Net Cash), followed by investing and financing activities, ending with your total cash available at the end of the period.
Adjust the Report Display (Edit Mode)
Click Edit in the top right corner to enter edit mode. This lets you drag rows to reorder them or manually adjust the numbers shown, using the handles on the left of each row.
Note: Edits made here are for display and adjustment purposes only — they don't affect your actual accounting records. Click Done
You can print or export the report to Excel format using the icons at the top of the page.
