Overview

By default, the name that appears as the sender for E-Signature Requests is the User's email address that sent the request. So, if you sent the request, it would be the email shown that you use to log in to DoorLoop. The same goes for any User on your account. If you want to change this, you'll need to log into Dropbox Sign directly and change your name there. Your email will still show, but it'll now have your name attached to it.

The Steps

1. To change the name that appears in the E-Signature Request emails, you'll need to log into the Dropbox Sign account associated with your DoorLoop account using this link: https://app.hellosign.com/account/logIn.

2. Use the email address associated with your DoorLoop user account and click Continue. You'll then be prompted for a password that you currently don't have. Use the "Forgot your password?" link and have Dropbox Sign send you a password reset email. Again, the email will be sent to the one associated with your DoorLoop user account.

3. Once you can log into your account, click your profile image in the top right corner. A dropdown menu will appear. Click Settings.

4. On the Settings page, click the Profile tab. Fill in the section that reads "Your Name". What you put in as your first and last name is what will appear in the Signature Request emails as to who is requesting the signatures. (Changing the Company name will not do anything.)

5. When you are done, scroll to the bottom and click Save at the bottom right corner.

6. Now, whenever you send an e-Signature Request, the recipients will see your name as the sender and your email address associated with DoorLoop.

Note: If you have multiple Users on your account who send out eSignature Requests, they'll all need to log in to Dropbox Sign and change their names to appear as they want. Otherwise, the sender will appear as just an email address, which may look suspicious to those you are sending the eSignature Requests to.
