Below are frequently asked questions in relation to RapidPay, Checkbook.io, and sending payments to your tenants, vendors, and owners.


RapidPay Questions

How long does it take for a Checkbook.io email I send to reach my tenant, vendor, or owner?

Sending a Checkbook.io payment via email is almost instant. The tenant, vendor, or owner should get the email almost right away after you send it. This could however be delayed based on their email service provider.

How long does it take to receive funds via ACH from Checkbook.io?

When your tenants, vendors, or owners receive the payment via email, they'll be able to view deposit options. Once they select your deposit option, this screen will show the date they should see the funds in their account.

If they are using the 'ACH/Direct Deposit' option, the transfer time depends on the sender (you).

  • Some senders are calibrated for overnight settlement and in those cases the funds will be in their account as soon as the next day.

  • Other senders have standard processing and in those cases, the funds will be in their account 4 business days after they've been deposited.

This is conditional to no mistakes being made on the recipient's side. If the recipient provides incorrect information, deposits the check incorrectly, etc., the transfer process may take longer.
