Edit a Recurring Payment on a Lease

If you are no longer receiving payments on a set schedule or receiving different amounts, you can edit the recurring payment.

Overview

You can edit a recurring payment (the amount, frequency, or date). This might be necessary if you need to change the amount or the frequency of a recurring payment.

The Steps

  1. To edit a recurring payment on a lease, click on Leasing on the main menu and then click on Active Leases.

  2. Find and click on the lease you want to edit a recurring payment on.

  3. On the lease, click on the Rent tab and find the recurring payment you need to edit under the Other Recurring Transactions section.

  4. Click on the 3-dots on the right side of the recurring payment line and choose Edit.

  5. On the Recurring Rent window, edit the necessary fields you want to change.

  6. Add any relevant files and click Save. New lease transactions created by this recurring transaction going forward will be created with this new information.

Note: You can not edit automatic recurring payments created by your tenants; you can only delete them, which will cancel their automatic recurring payments.
