Edit the "Next Charge Date" on a Recurring Rent Charge

If your recurring charge has the wrong next charge date, here is how to edit that date.

Overview

The "Next Charge Date" on a Recurring Rent Charge or a Recurring Charge is the date when the recurring rent will post a charge again. In most circumstances, it should be showing the next month's date. If it's showing an incorrect "next charge" date, you can fix this easily.

The Steps

  1. To edit the "Next Charge" date on a recurring rent charge, find the lease that needs the change.

  2. On the lease, click the Rent tab and then click on the Recurring Rent charge that has the incorrect Next Charge date.

  3. On the Recurring Rent window, edit the Start Date to when you want the Recurring Rent to being posting charges again.

  4. Click Save to finish.

Doing this will reset the Recurring Rent's Next Charge date and begin posting charges each month correctly again.
