Make a Payment on a Tenant's Behalf

Property managers cannot create payments or set up auto-pays when impersonating a tenant for security reasons. Tenants must log in with their own credentials to make payments.

For security reasons, you cannot create payments or set up auto-pays while impersonating a tenant through your DoorLoop dashboard.

Workaround

If absolutely necessary, you can log in to the tenant portal using the tenant's own username and password at https://app.doorloop.com/auth/login and make the payment from there. This bypasses the impersonation restriction since you are logging in as the tenant directly.

Note: This requires having the tenant's login credentials. The recommended approach is to have the tenant make their own payments.
