If you add units to DoorLoop and exceed your subscription limit, you can either add units to your subscription or make unused units inactive.

The Steps

Step 1

From the main menu, select Rentals > Units.

Step 2

Find the unit you want to make inactive. You can either use the various filters or use the Search units search bar.

Step 3

Click on the vertical three dots icon to the right of your unit and select Make Inactive.

Confirm the warning pop-up window by clicking the Make Inactive button, or Dismiss if you want to go back and start over.

Step 4

That's it! This unit no longer counts against your subscription unit count.

You won't lose any historic information associated with inactive units, such as lease information and past tenants. However, you won't be able to lease this unit again until is made active.

How do I find and review inactive units?

  • You can review inactive units at any time by filtering your units by Status, choosing Inactive.

How do I make inactive units active again?

  • Make these units active again by clicking on the vertical three dots icon to the right of the inactive unit and choosing Make Active.
