How do I disable Two-Factor Authentication?
Turn off Two-Factor Authentication, which is on by default for better security.

Overview

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), aka 2-Step Verification, works by adding an additional layer of security when accessing your DoorLoop account. This is done by sending a verification email with a code that you will need to enter into DoorLoop to gain access. This occurs whenever you attempt to log in.

While we strongly recommend keeping Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on for security reasons, we provide you the ability to disable it. Should you need to for whatever reason, here’s how:

The Steps

  1. Click Settings on the left menu and then click on Login & Password in the Personal section.

  2. Once inside, you can simply disable 2-Step Verification by clicking on the toggle to turn it off.

  3. Enter your password in the Current Password field down in the Security Confirmation section of the page, then click Save.

That’s all! Now you no longer need a verification code to log in. Be advised that this is less secure, and we recommend you turn it back on if you have the ability to do so.
