Update Default Bank Accounts for Multiple Properties in Bulk

How to update the default bank account on multiple properties at once.

Written by Samuel

Overview

You can update the default bank account for multiple properties at once instead of editing each property individually.

The Steps

  1. To update default bank accounts for multiple properties in bulk, click Reports on the main menu. Then under the Accounting section, click Property Bank Accounts.

  2. From the Property Bank Accounts page, you’ll now see a list of all the properties you’re managing and whether or not they have an Operating Account and/or Trust Account.

  3. Select the properties you want to update the default bank accounts to by using the checkboxes next to each property.

  4. Once your properties are selected, click the “Update Default Accounts” button above the table.

  5. You’ll be presented now with an Update Default Accounts popup. You have two choices here:

    • Use company default bank accounts - This reverts the operating and trust bank accounts to the company default settings.

    • Specify a bank account for this property - You need to select the new operation bank account and an account where escrow will be held. Learn more about setting up Property Bank Accounts.

  6. Click Save to complete the process.

Note: All the properties you select will be updated to use the same bank account setup — you can't apply different settings to different properties within the same bulk update.

All the properties you selected will now be using the operating account and escrow account you have set up.
