Create an Online Listing for Your Rentals

Learn how to create an online listing for a rental unit in DoorLoop and publish it to Zillow, Apartments.com, and other partner sites.

Written by Samuel

Overview

You can create a listing for a vacant unit in DoorLoop and publish it to multiple partner sites — including Zillow, Apartments.com, and Zumper — from one place. To list a unit, you'll need to add its photos, amenities, and unit details through the Unit Listing Wizard.

Note: The Online Listings feature is not available to Starter Plans. Consider upgrading to the Pro or Premium Plans to access this feature. The AI Assistant for Unit Listings is available to our Pro and Premium tiers as a paid add-on. For more information about DoorLoop's AI Assistant package, click here.

Our current listing partners also do not allow the listing of commercial properties. This means online listing features in DoorLoop will not be available for commercial properties.

New AI Assistant-Enabled Features
(Optional Add-on)

DoorLoop's AI Assistant is an optional add-on that generates property and unit description text for your listings, based on the details you've already entered (photos, amenities, size, etc.).

  • Unlike third-party AI tools, DoorLoop's AI Assistant has direct access to your property and unit's actual details when generating text.

  • You can edit any AI-generated description before publishing.

For more information about DoorLoop's AI Assistant package, read the following article on how the AI Assistant works within the Unit Listings Wizard: AI Assistant in the Unit Listings Wizard.

The Steps

Step 1 - Starting the Unit Listing Wizard

  1. To list unit with one of our online listing partners, click on Leasing > Listings on the main menu.

  2. Find the unit you want to list and click "List Unit" under the Listing Visibility column of the unit.

  3. This will begin the Unit Listing Wizard. Continue to step 2.

Note: You must have a valid and verified Merchant Account set up on DoorLoop in order to list with our partner listing websites.

Tip: Depending on whether this is a Single-Family property type or not, you will get slightly different options here. For single-family homes, you will not get the option to add Unit Details or Unit Highlights.

Step 2 - Enter the Property Details

  1. You will first need to enter the Property Details that the unit sits on. This will include the Property Name, Property Photos, and the Property Amenities.
