Duplicate a Budget

Duplicate an existing budget in DoorLoop to reuse it as a starting template for a new fiscal year—saves time while maintaining your original structure.

Overview

Creating a budget can be more efficient by duplicating a previously established budget. This approach allows you to maintain consistency and provides a solid baseline to start from.

Note: The Budgeting feature is not available for Starter Plans. Please consider upgrading to the Pro or Premium plans to use this feature.

The Steps

  1. To duplicate a budget, from the Budgeting screen, find the budget you want to duplicate and click the 3 dots menu to the right of the budget.

  2. Click Duplicate Budget to create an exact copy of the selected budget. The name of the new budget will be same as the selected budget, with the "(Copy)" added to the end.

    From here, you can continue to edit the budget as you see fit.
