Overview
When you set up your tenant portal appearance in DoorLoop, you can set one portal for your whole company, or you can create different portal configurations for each of your properties.
This way, you can brand your properties so different company names, designs, and URLs show for tenants renting at those properties.
Tip: You can also set different features for the tenant portal on each of your different properties if needed. For information on how to do this, read the article: Customize Property-Specific Tenant Portal Settings.
How to brand your properties
For each property you want to change your company branding for (name, subdomain, logos, etc), do the following:
To brand your properties with a different company name, logos, and URLs, click Rentals > Properties on the main menu.
Find and click on the property you want to brand with different info from your company default info.
On the property's page, click the Settings tab and then click the Tenant Portal button.
The Tenant Portal Settings window will now appear. In the Contact Info section, select "Customize portal contact info for this property" and enter the company name you want to appear when tenants on this property log in to their tenant portals or receive notification emails and SMS messages. You can also edit the contact info and address, which will appear on the tenant's portal or in receipts, account statements, and invoices that are sent to the tenant.
In the Customization section, choose Specify portal theme for this property if you’d like to add a different Logo, Color Theme, or Background / Cover Image for this property. The Logo you upload here will also be what appears on receipts, account statements, and invoices sent to the tenants on this property.
In the Portal URL section, enter a new subdomain you want to use for this property. This must be a unique name. DoorLoop will give you an error if the subdomain is already being used by another account.
The Tenant Requests section lets you specify a unique message for this property when tenants submit a Tenant Request.
The Portal Invite section lets you specify a unique message for Tenant Portal Invites when they go out to tenants on this property.
When you are finished, click Save.
That’s it! You can use these instructions to view one of your tenant’s portals to see what the new company name and logo look like.
