Overview

With time, comes improvement and DoorLoop has released a quality-of-life upgrade that improves the functionality of the navigation bar and now places all relative settings on it as well.

What Has Changed

New navigation menu

At first glance, the navigation bar doesn't seem all that much different aside from the new coat of paint and some items being moved around. The Getting Started section is now moved closer to the bottom of the navigation bar as well as the Help section, Settings, and your Profile/Logout link.

Tip: If you complete the Getting Started section, it will disappear from the main menu. You can find it again under Help.

Collapsable menu

However, when you click one of the category buttons, you'll notice that the menu now collapses and brings up a new submenu whereas the old version would only bring up a new menu. The new navigation bar now makes it quicker to go back to a main menu and click a category to open up the submenu associated with that.

Tooltips

If you're not sure about what one of the main menu icons is, you can hover over it for a second and a tooltip will popup with the name of that section.

Notes and Files

You should also notice two brand new sections on the main menu - Notes and Files. Whereas before, all Notes and Files were only viewable in the specific properties, tenants, tasks, etc where they were created. Now all your Notes and Files are collected into one easy-to-search area regardless of where they were created.

And that's it! Hopefully, these quality-of-life changes will make navigating DoorLoop much easier for you and time-saving!
