DoorLoop Calendar - The DoorLoop Calendar is your central hub to conveniently view important events in DoorLoop. This includes move-in and move-out dates, and all tasks (tasks, work orders, requests). Having all these items on an easily accessible calendar allows for better organization and planning when it comes to property management. You'll also be able to subscribe to the DoorLoop Calendar and receive a weekly agenda email with what's happening in the coming week. Wire Transfers Now Labeled as EFT - To reduce confusion, Wire Transfers are now labeled as Electronic Fund Transfers (EFT) when selecting a payment method. This is to help differentiate it from ePayments in the system.
Join Rental Applications Option - You will now be able to join rental applications with each other, for instance, if an applicant has co-applicants or they are applying with a co-signer. Applicants will still need to apply separately, but you can now group applications together that are related and see the relation on each application.

Inline Preview for Files and Images - DoorLoop now has the ability to view attached files and images directly in the software without having to first download them and view them in another application. What that means for you is a increase in productivity and a reduction in time required to manage your properties.
UI Improvements - We've improved the look and feel of DoorLoop with updates to toggle switches, radio buttons, and check boxes across the entire software. This is to optimize viewing and clarity.
Allow Previous User/Tenant/Owner/HOA to Sign Up With Existing Emails - Previously, if someone signed up to DoorLoop using their email address, whether it be a tenant, owner, or an HOA user, you were not able to use that email again to create a new User on your account. You would have had to create them using a new email address. That is no longer the case and you can now create new Users

Performance Improvements - In our ongoing efforts to improve DoorLoop, we've made several performance improvements to the overall software to make it faster and more responsive.
New 'As of date' filter for A/R Summary Reports on the Owner Portal - We've expanded the usability of the A/R Summary Report on the new Owner Portal with the inclusion of an 'As of date' filter giving the owner a more accurate look at their finances on any given day.
If you want to give your owners the ability to see how their properties are doing on a day-to-day basis, invite your owners to use the Owner Portal.

New Receive Payments General Information Tab - We know payment limits have been a bit of a pain point, but now you'll be able to see exactly what those limits are and if needed, request an increase to those limits. You'll be able to request an increase for each of your bank accounts that you have merchant accounts set up for as well as update any information associated with those accounts. Owner Distributions - We have revamped Owner Distributions and have made the entire process easier and more intuitive. Of interest is the fact that you will now be able to quickly see if properties have owners attached to them and how much money is available to distribute. Not only that, but you're able to now create Owner Distributions based on an "as of date" range which takes into account what your bank accounts looked like as of a certain date.
All of these new updates help take the guesswork out of Owner Distributions!

New "As of Date" Filter for A/R & A/P Reports - Speaking of "as of date" filters, we have also expanded this new feature into the A/R Aging and A/P Aging reports! using the "as of date" filter will allow you to view report data as of that date. That means you're able to view various aspects of your account at any given period of time, accurately.
New Profit & Loss Widget - This is a long time coming, but there is now a Profit & Loss widget on the overview page! With the Profit & Loss widget, you get a quick summary of your revenues, net income, and expenses over the past 3 months. Clicking on the widget will take you directly to a more detailed Profit & Loss report.

Update Your Own Merchant Account Banking Information! - If you have a merchant account setup already, you already know that each merchant account is associated with a specific bank account. However, what happens if you are no longer using that bank account or have a new bank account that you want to associate with your merchant account instead? DoorLoop now gives you the option to update your own bank account information!
No more having to chat with customer support and you can now change this information on your own.

Receive Payments Overview Page Improvements - To make information and data more clear in regard to your tenant's payments and deposits, we've improved the Receive Payments page to make it more clear as to what is going on. Payments being processed now have their own section so you can see what is actually pending.
Once payments have been processed, they'll move to the Transactions Available to Pay Out Soon section letting you know that the payment has cleared and is ready to deposit into your bank account. Once they are deposited, they'll appear in the Recently Deposited section.
This will make tracking all your tenants' payments easier to follow.
Plaid Integration Improvements - We have updated our integration with Plaid to support users who need to reconnect to their bank accounts. Users can now simply reconnect their Plaid account by refreshing their account or using the reconnect option in the DoorLoop portal.

Merchant account transactions page updates - We introduced the new Receive Payments page last week and we're already making improvements. The Receive Payments page is now your one-stop destination to check on all things related to your merchant account with Stripe. This new centralized payments portal is where you'll now see all your ePay transactions, the statuses of those transactions, disbursements and the status of those payouts, when those will be deposited, and more.
We've added more filter choices so you can better organize and see all your transactions!
Google SSO for logging into DoorLoop - The ability to use Google SSO (single sign-on) to log into your DoorLoop account on the Web, iOS, and Android is now available. Please note that this is only available for those who currently have a Google account, such as a Gmail or Youtube account. [details]
Transfer balances between properties with the same account - Transferring funds between properties just got a whole lot easier with this latest update. You are now able to transfer funds between properties that share the same bank account allowing for 'zero amount transactions'. Money doesn't move out of the bank account but only moves between properties. [details]
Image display enabled on all size screens - All images added to the listing module will now be viewed in full size on all screen times, ensuring ease of use and clarity when agents show prospects pictures of properties.
Setting customized notifications for rent reminders and one last notification before we charge late fees - This is a feature that has been asked for frequently and now it's available. You can set late fee notifications to notify tenants before late fees will be charged to their account. [details]. You can also now set notifications for tenants if they haven't paid their rent yet. Improvements to the tenants' payment flow - We've heard your feedback about the new tenant portal payment flow and have added some improvements, to make them more intuitive and easier to use. Here are the additions:
Bank accounts that are manually added will now appear as pending under their saved payment methods until verification is completed.
The verification status of that bank account will be shown, including what step in the process they are on.
Tenants are now able to verify their bank accounts with the micro-deposits directly from their DoorLoop tenant portal and no longer need to wait for a verification email from Stripe.
No more confusion about whether or not a payment was made while adding their bank account information.
Invoicing to tenants - You can now automatically create and send an invoice to tenants for the current rent charge that needs to be paid. These are sent when rent charge notification emails go out. You're also able to create invoices manually from the lease transactions.
Bulk management fees - DoorLoop now has the ability to manage all your management fee settings in one place for all your properties. That means no more needing to go into each property individually to adjust these settings. Now you can do it all from the new Management Fees Report.
Success toaster - Nothing is worse than performing a task and not knowing if it was successful or not. That's why we've made a significant UX improvement that enables new user notifications that the action they took was successful. This includes items such as payment, adding a new item, paying a bill, and many more!
Payment Status Now on the Transaction Lists Report - Know how far along your ePays are now with the new payment status column on lease transaction list reports. You'll now see if an ePay is being processed, if it has cleared, and if it's been deposited into your account.
Export owner statements to Excel - While we did make improvements to the owner statements in the last big update, we are always making adjustments where they are needed. So with the owner statements, not only can you download them as printable PDF files, but you can now export them to Excel format for use with your spreadsheet apps.

Download Lease Account Statements in Bulk - When using the Lease Account Statement report, you can now select multiple leases and download all the selected lease statements in bulk, saving you time.

In Rental Application, View the SSN and DL Numbers - Another highly requested feature is the ability to view their potential tenant's full SSN and Driver's License Number in the rental applications. This is especially helpful for those who run their own background checks outside of DoorLoop.
Export Chart of Accounts - For those who do their accounting outside of DoorLoop, such as in Quickbooks, you can now export your entire Chart of Accounts as an Excel spreadsheet file. The new feature has been added as a ‘Download Excel’ button to the Chart of Accounts page.

Owner’s Statement Updates - You can now create and print multiple owners' statements at once with just one click.
The owner statement screen has been redesigned to allow property managers to run owner statements simultaneously for multiple owners and properties.
We have improved the printable layout of owner’s statements to include property managers' names, logos, and addresses, so they are distribution-ready.
Upon generating a report, we have included a convenient note-making feature that allows users to compose and save notes on each owner's statement from the one screen.
Additionally, we have added the option to continue your work in DoorLoop while waiting for your reports to run in the background. This is for those who run a high number of statements at once.
Now, when you share the printable version of a report with somebody, they will be able to see the filters in place that you have applied on it (property, owner, dates, etc).
Journal Entry Updates - You are now able to create recurring journal entries, saving time from having to enter the same new line items every month.
Typical recurring journal entries include depreciation of physical assets, Amortization of nonphysical assets, Recording disposal of fixed assets, and more.
Two-Factor Auth SMS option added - We have added the capability to use SMS as part of the 2-factor authentication when logging into the DoorLoop to enable users a simpler and more accessible login experience.
Reports Now Reflect Filter Labels in the Title - When you print your reports now, the report title will now accurately reflect your filter selection at the top of the report.
